This are the minimum requirements for NovaView Analytics client installed on x64 Windows to connect to 2005 OLAP server. 

NovaView Analytics is 32-bit application and it will run on 64-bit Windows XP/Server in 32-bit emulation mode. Above are  minimum requirements to connect to MS OLAP 2005 server. Same can be applied for 32-bit Windows choosing proper version X86 instead X64

This solution is not recommended for Panorama NovaView Server and we still suggest full OLAP client and management  tools to be installed on it. Please see Software Requirement for Panorama NovaView Server

1. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider

The Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider is a COM component that software developers can use to create client-side applications that browse metadata and query data stored in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services. This provider implements both the OLE DB specification and the specification’s extensions for online analytical processing (OLAP) and data mining.

Note: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider requires Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0
