The problem is due to a missing configuration in IIS to handle the different name requests, and may also be caused by an improperly configured DNS. |
| SOLUTION |
|
Make sure the FQDN (Full Qualified Domain Name) has been setup properly in your Internal (LAN) and External (ISP) DNS servers. Preferably with the Reverse Look Up working. Configure IIS to listen for port 80 at the specific IP. Configure IIS to listen for the FQDN name also in port 80 at the specific IP example: Then configure NovaView Administrator, and the NovaView Desktop Client to connect using the FQDN example:
