When you try to open Run Web Access As, as any user, you get the following message:

 

 

 

This will usually happen on Windows Server 2008 64-bit machines, but can happen in any other enviornment.

The reason for this problem is that the file AppTemplate.htm, located under ...\Panorama\E-BI directory, uses an old format which causes problems. This file is the template used for this feature.

This problem will be corrected in NovaView 6 August 2010 Planned Fix, but until then you can replace this file on your own.

Download the code from this link, copy it from the PDF file and paste it in the ...\Panorama\E-BI\AppTemplate.htm (overriding the old content).

 

Note: the code in the link above assumes you're using Sun Java VM on the server. If you're using Microsoft JVM instead (which is discouraged), change the line

pnJVMtype="Sun";

to

pnJVMtype="Ms";
