Sometimes, when application error or misbehaviour occurs, the Event log can provide a detailed description and explanation of the problem so we could resolve that quickly and efficiently. Sometimes the support personell will ask you to retrieve the Event log as EVT or EVTX format (depends on server version) and send to support.
How to save the Event Viewer log?

Whenever facing a new incident, support will ask you to do the following:
Clean the Event Viewer.
Make sure the DebugServer and DebugNewAdmin added to registry (instructions)
Reproduce error.
Save the Event Viewer log and send over to support.
Steps
First of all, open the Event Viewer by going to start->run->eventvwr
Choose 'application' option from the left side list and view events
Clean the Event Log by right-clicking on 'application' and choosing 'clear all events'
Reproduce the error.
Go back to the Event Viewer (if the 'Application' option is still empty, press F5 to refresh) and choose 'save log file as...'
after saving the log as .evt or .evtx file, send it over to support.
