How to use Skin Builder?

This article will help you to define a skin for your Panorama Web application (Classic Analytics or Dashboard Java component).
  1. Open C:\Program Files\Panorama\E-BI\Utils\pnSkinBuilder.exe
  2. Go to File > Choose Server.

  3. Type the path of Panorama web application
  4. Open any book
  5. Close the panes and choose option : show chart above show
  6. Open Properties
  7. By changing different values under Backgrounds, Fonts and Chart Series, set the values you want to be in the skin.

  8. Click OK to preview after every change.

  9. Choose File > Save skin as
  10. Browse to the directory C:\Program Files\Panorama\E-BI\Config\Skins
  11. Create new Folder named after your skin - example test
  12. Name the file skin.txt and click OK

  13. Now you should have this:

  14. The skin file contains all selected values in RGB format. They can be changed manually as well.

To make the skin work, you should add it to the list under main skin file Skins.xml located under C:\Program Files\Panorama\E-BI\Config\Skins
To make the skin as default for all users, simply locate the skin.txt file under Default folder.
NovaView Intelligence service must be restarted to take effect. After this, clean cache and cookies in your browser and restart it.
