On the NovaView Server machine:
A. Install the software requirements:
1. Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 (version 2.0.50727 or newer)

B. Configure the IIS (Start-> inetmgr):
Under the Panorama site (or the Default Web Site if it is used for Panorama), Panorama directory, change the execute permissions for the NetComponents and JSharp directories to "scripts only".
In IIS 6 (Windows 2003):

In IIS 7 (Windows 2008):
Click on the folder name --> Handler Mappings --> Edit Feature Permissions, make sure only Read and Script are checked.

On the client's machine
These settings need to be performed for any client machine that wishes to use Rich Mode Visuals, and on the NovaView server as well.
A. .NET Configuration Settings
1. Install the Microsoft .Net Framework SDK, available here.
2. Run Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework Configuration
3. Click "Manage the Assembly Cache"
4. Open Runtime Security Policy
5. Drill down to Machine >> Code Group >> All_Code
6. For each of the zones LocalIntranet_Zone, Internet_Zone and Trusted_Zone, right click on the Zone --> Properties --> Permission Set. Set Permission Set to 'FullTrust' and Membership Condition to 'All Code'.

Internet Explorer Options
B. Add the NovaView server to the Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer. While just recommended for other features, having the server in Trusted Sites is mandatory for the Dundas (Advanced) Charts.

C. Prior to first running the NovaView Visuals in Design or Rich mode, clear the IE cookies and cache, and go to the users profile (C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data) and delete the Assembly and Deployment folders.
