Scenario

Whenever you are facing errors related to viewed data, Java pop-ups, inconsistent or wrong resualts in Classic Analytics or Dashboard, deleting Java and IE cache and cookies should be your first step. After deleting cache and cookies  it's best to restart IE.

Solution

Deleting Internet Explorer cache and cookies

  

IE 7

choose "Tools" --> "Internet Options"

Press "Delete" under "Browsing Data" and choose "Temporary Internet Files" and "Cookies"

Do as the above, but also delete "Browser Cache".

you can do so by going to "Tools" --> "Developer Tools", and under "Cache" tab choose "Clear Browser Cache".

Clearing Java cache

Wrong data resaults can also be resolved by clearing Java cache. It is important to delete both IE and Java cache, then restarting the browser.

In order to delete Java cache you need to open "Java Control Panel" by pressing Start-->Control Panel-->Java

On "General" tab choose "Settings" under "Temporary Internet Files". Click on "Delete Files" and press OK.

Only if your problem still persists after doing all of the above, try:

  1. Restarting IE.
  2. Restoring your Internet Options (under "Tools") back to default, and then resetting it according to Panorama Client-s side Pre-requisites.
    Restore to default by going to "Tools" --> "Internet Options" --> "Security" tab, and choosing first "Reset all zones" and then "Custom level" --> "Reset".

    Go to "Advaced" tab and choose "Restore".
    Only if previous options did not help, try pressing "Reset" under "Advanced" tab.

    Don't forger resetting the IE according to our pre-requisites after restoring default settings.
