404 - Cannot find page (IIS error)

Most of NovaView are web application, so every rule for web errors will apply here too.

The 404 is a common web error that saying "the requested page cannot be found".

This might happen in NovaView under few circumstances:

1. You just upgraded from 5 to 6 version, and browse a wrong link (port 4444 added to the new link)

2. Using "Run Web access as.."

3. The Web site does not refer to actual files location

4. 404 error on Dashboards

1. Check the port of the PanoramaWebSite in IIS and browse the welcome.htm file from IIS. compare it to your link.
2. If the 404 error happens only during user impersonation on 64 bit server, this article will help you out.
3. Open Panorama virtual directory properties and check to what directory on hard drive it is pointing. Make sure the directory exists.
